From farm to table: digital record-keeping in supply chains
Building transparent supply chains with blockchain
Supply chain flows, if not forensically monitored, are susceptible to poor record-keeping, counterfeiting, grey markets, data vulnerabilities, and other criminal behaviour. Enter stage left – Blockchain. With its ability to eliminate blind spots, and share encrypted records not captured in a traditional financial ledger, blockchain removes the need to conduct regular, painfully expensive and time-consuming audits. Instead, participants get a complete and immutable history of a product life cycle. In cooperation with LocationTech and AgriTechNZ, BlockchainNZ invites you to this joint event which will examine local test cases and applications of blockchain in supply chain management.
