It’s been a great time in the tech space with the NZ Hi-Tech Awards being hosted in Wellington last Friday. With a turnout of close to 1100 people, including the Prime Minister and the Mayor of Wellington, it was a night to enjoy all the great innovation being developed here in Aotearoa. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners - it was great to see so many members from the wider Tech Alliance grace the stage and be acknowledged for all their hard work.

Elevation Aotearoa

The LocationTech committee met with representatives from Toitū Te Whenua LINZ. The focus was to hear more about Elevation Aotearoa - a partnership between LINZ and Regional Council’s to procure and then share a nationally consistent elevation dataset for all of New Zealand.
